News News: Sabum Trevor McIntyre to sit for 5th Dan
We have received word that ITF Newcastle's Instructor Trevor McIntyre will be sitting for his 5th Dan in April this year (2006). At this time it is not known who Trevor will be graded by.

Trevor has been training for the last 5 years on his 4th Dan as it is compulsery to train atleast 5 years before sitting for a 5th Dan Grading.

More News will be posted as we get more details about the Grading.

News News: Boosabum Scott Gallagher Receives 3rd Dan

Long time Assistant Instructor Scott Gallagher graded to 3rd Dan Black Belt in the Black Belt Grading held at the Newcastle Dojang in December, 2005. Scott and existing Black Belts from Tam's Budo Academy (Sydney) showed an impressive array of skills at the Grading with some spectacular Breaks, Patterns, Self Defence and Sparring.

Congratulations to Raymond Sue (who obtained his 4th Dan) and Ariane (who obtained 2nd Dan) from Tams Budo Academy. =]

News News: New Blackbelts in the House!

A special pat on the back to all who succeeding in their Black Belt Grading held at the Newcastle Dojang in December, 2005.

New Black Belts: Feonah Gibbons, Kate Doutney and Kevin - (Tam's Budo, Sydney).

New Junior Black Belts: Andrew Velkov.

And a special thanks to Master Tam and family plus Tam's Budo members for travelling all the way from Sydney to attend the Grading.
