• One year after General Choi retired the (ITF) International Taekwon-Do Federation was formed (22nd of March) with associations
in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, West Germany, the United States, Turkey, Italy, Arab Republic
of Egypt and Korea. |

• Moved ITF headquarters to Toronto, Canada, to facilitate the spread of TKD to Eastern Europe. |

• Led ITF Demonstration Team to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East (more than 100,000 attended in Egypt alone). |
