ITF Taekwon-do Newcastle
Teaching the great Art of Taekwon-do to Novacastrians since 1993
Taekwon-do is the Korean Martial Art benefiting Millions across the globe. ITF stands for
International Taekwon-do Federation and was created by the father of Taekwon-do General Choi Hong Hi (Who sadly passed away on June 15, 2002 at age 83).
As a student of Taekwon-do you will not only learn Self Defence, you will also obtain many other significant
benefits, including: Self Control, Increased Mental and Physical Fitness,
Flexibility, Enhanced Co-ordination, Improved Motor Skills and especially
beneficial to children; Greater Respect and Discipline.
People of all ages are more then welcome to Join ITF Taekwon-do Newcastle classes.
ITF Taekwon-do Newcastle has classes for both Adults and Children. TaekwonKids is a Taekwon-do class specially provided for children (aged 12 and under).

TaekwonKids
TaekwonKids is a great program specially developed for Children aged 6 to High School age. Developed to be extremelly fun and motivating yet at the same teaching children the fundamental principles/tenents of Taekwon-do such as Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.

ITF Newcastle is run and managed by 4th Dan Black Belt Trevor McIntyre.
Sabum Trevor McIntyre has over 18 years Taekwon-do experience, among his Taekwon-do adventures he has won many State and National Championships and represented Australia in the World Championships hosted in Malaysia, 1994.
Trevor has a passion for teaching, nearly even more so then for Teakwon-do. Teaching a wide range of students of various backgrounds and ages for the last 16 years.
